The meeting was presided over by Pang Zheng, Minister of the Third Sports Department of the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and Secretary-General of the China Bowling Association.
Mr. Feng Weiquan, General Project Manager of the Hong Kong Division Coordination Office of the National Games and Deputy Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee for the Bowling Event of the 15th National Games Mass Competition, on behalf of the Hong Kong SAR Government, welcomed all parties to participate in the bowling finals of the 15th National Games and gave a brief introduction to the event preparation.
Pei Guang, Senior Researcher of the Comprehensive Coordination Division of the Mass Sports Department of the General Administration of Sport of China, put forward clear requirements regarding competition conduct and anti-doping work. He emphasized that competition conduct is the lifeline and red line of sports competitions and must be firmly upheld. All units should manage their teams well, further consolidate main responsibilities, and clarify functional positioning.
Jiang Shicai, Director of the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and Director of the Organizing Committee for the Bowling Event of the 15th National Games Mass Competition, delivered a mobilization speech. From the perspective of the project management and technical support units, Director Jiang proposed three hopes: "safe, smooth, and wonderful," and three requirements: "cherish, be responsible, and cooperate." As the only mass competition event undertaken by the Small Ball Center of the General Administration of Sport in this National Games, and also the only mass competition event held in the Hong Kong Division of this National Games, the bowling event carries significant importance and sets higher standards for event organization. Director Jiang emphasized that all staff must perform their duties responsibly, all participating teams must strictly observe competition conduct, and ensure the entire event is safe and orderly. All departments and positions should enhance cooperation awareness, establish a big-picture perspective, and work together to promote the successful completion of the event.
Director Jiang's speech was both visionary and grounded, expressing earnest expectations for the event as well as encouragement and care for all participants. All personnel will remember the instructions, go all out, organize the event with high standards and distinctive features, showcase the style of the National Games mass competitions, and make it a "safe, smooth, and wonderful" National Games final.
After the plenary meeting, Jiang Shicai, Director of the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, along with Zhang Dongjin, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau, and others, made a special visit to the final venue of this event—the Kai Tak Bowling Center—for inspection.
