After a 27-year wait, the Chinese team wins a women's singles medal again

On July 27th, Beijing time, Doha, Qatar, became a glorious place witnessing the rise of China's youth bowling power. In the women's singles event of the 24th Asian Youth Bowling Championships, Chinese young player Li Yiru withstood the pressure, battled strong opponents with exquisite technique and strong mental fortitude, and ultimately won the silver medal!
This medal carries the heavy expectations of Chinese bowling – it has been a full 27 years since a Chinese female athlete last stood on the podium at this event (1998). Li Yiru's display of a 'fearless against strong opponents, daring to fight' spirit in the competition not only earned her honor but also ignited the hope for the revival of Chinese bowling in Asian youth competitions.
