China Bowling Tour & Wuxi Open Concludes Successfully

China Daily, July 15 (Reporter Sun Xiaochen) – Silver balls dance with Jiangnan charm, the tour feast continues its grand chapter! The three-day 2025 China Bowling Tour and Wuxi Open concluded successfully last weekend by the side of Lake Taihu.

 

 

As the second stop of the annual tour, the Wuxi leg bore the important task of continuing the glory of the first stop and igniting another bowling craze. The event continued the essence of innovative competition rules, breaking traditional barriers and providing a broad stage for all players to compete fairly and surpass themselves. Many players who performed brilliantly in the first leg, along with new talents who came upon hearing the news, gathered in Wuxi to showcase their skills by Lake Taihu, with the intensity of competition surpassing previous years!

After fierce competition, the champions of the Women's Group and Open Group were all decided! Yang Liyan, He Xiaoli, and Chang Yiyun won the champion, runner-up, and third place in the Women's Group, respectively. In the Open Group, after an intense ladder challenge, Wang Dongyu stood out and earned the right to challenge Yang Liyan, who ranked first in the qualifying round. Finally, Wang Dongyu defeated the opponent with a total score of 2:1, successfully claiming the championship, while Yang Liyan and Qi Wankang won the runner-up and third place, respectively.

Liu Tao, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Bowling Association, and Guan Youshun, Executive Deputy Director of the Chinese Bowling Association's Competition and Referee Committee, attended the awards ceremony and presented awards to the winning players.

The flag handover ceremony for the China Tour was held after the awards ceremony. Shen Jie, Vice President of the Jiangsu Provincial Bowling Association, handed the flag back to Fu Xueyan, the Head of the Bowling Project at the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China. In a warm atmosphere, Fu Xueyan passed the flag to Xie Fubin of Xiamen MAX Bowling Club, the host of the third stop of the 2025 China Bowling Tour, and Xie Fubin solemnly accepted the flag.

In a warm atmosphere, the Wuxi stop of the China Tour successfully concluded. Let's move from the 30,000-hectare shore of Lake Taihu to Xiamen, the "Egret Island" with its piano-like charm, to share the beauty of bowling and experience the unique charm of the "Garden on the Sea."
